Our newly refurbished building is more accessible, more user friendly and more welcoming than ever before.
Our venue is open 7 days a week for all who need us. We have a range of activities to get involved in, including classes, workshops and performances but can also offer a perfect space to rest and unwind.
There is no obligation to take part in activities, or spend any money to us our foyer space. We have free WiFi running throughout the building, comfortable seating and power sockets for you to charge your devices with.
A la Mesa, our on-site café and bar, offers a seasonal daily menu, toasties and pastries, as well as a special kids’ menu. On Thursday to Saturday evenings the café transforms into a bar serving up locally sourced wines and beers, and a great range of non-alcoholic options.
A La Mesa’s standard opening hours are as below. They will also be open before, during and after every performance at Jacksons Lane.

At Jacksons Lane we have a year round programme of performances in our theatre and studio spaces. We are the leading presenter of contemporary circus in the UK, and also programme a wide range of physical theatre and family performance.
As well as our programmed performances, we also hire our theatre space to community and private theatre companies which bring a whole host of other performances to the venue.

Our studio spaces host a wide range of different classes and courses, from dance and movement sessions to photography and craft groups.

Whether it is to hold a rehearsal or meeting, host a performance, or for a photo or filmshoot, we have a space to suit every type of activity and budget.
We also host a large number of private functions and events throughout the year in our largest studio space. Studio 1 provides the perfect setting for a whole range of different celebrations.
