What is The Big Give Christmas Challenge?
Big Give is an organisation that runs match funding campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. This means that anything you donate during a Big Give campaign is doubled, so if you donate £1, £2 goes into the pot!
We’re taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023 to help us run our Christmas Day Project, this year the challenge runs from Tuesday 28 November to Tuesday 5 December.
What is our Christmas Day Project?
Our Christmas Day Project is a vital part of our work at Jacksons Lane, and has been running for over 45 years. We welcome 100 vulnerable older adults to our venue for a day of Christmas festivities. and aim to deliver 200 hampers to those who cannot make the in-person celebrations.
Over 100 volunteers come together to help make Christmas Day a magical experience for our guests and hamper recipients. The Big Give Christmas Challenge helps us raise vital funds to support the project.
How can you help?
Our fundraising goal this year is £10,000, this will become £20,000 thanks to match funding through the Big Give Christmas Challenge. You can help us to achieve this goal by donating to our project through the Big Give platform.
Every donation, big or small, will help us make Christmas Day 2023 magical for isolated older adults.
