Despite its impressive 168-seat capacity* our theatre space has an intimate feel that lends itself perfectly to performances, showcases, amateur dramatics and other events.

Theatre Hire Facilities
Our in-house technician can support your hire with get-in as well as operating lighting and sound equipment. Further additional staffing can also be arranged, subject to additional charges.
Three dressing rooms are available on site at Jacksons Lane, including one fully accessible dressing room. Showers are available on site.
We will process tickets sales through our physical and online box office management system, subject to an 8% handling charge.
The Data Protection Act dictates that information regarding individual bookers such as names, addresses and contact numbers cannot be passed on.

I want to put on a show – can I book it now?
Soon enough! Simply fill out the form below and wait for our Hires team to get back to you. The more detail you can give us at this initial stage the easier the booking process will be. If possible please include an outline of the project or production, any known technical requirements, a brief company background and preferred dates, we’ll then get back to you as soon as possible.
What is the capacity of the theatre?
The maximum capacity in the theatre is 168, in an end on arrangement.
For an additional fee we are able to extend the stage, which reduces the capacity to 132.
Can we sell our own tickets?
To insure a professional approach at all times and to be able to fully support your audience all tickets must be sold through Jacksons Lane’s box office for all performances in our theatre.
How much does it cost to use your box office
We charge an 8% commission for all ticket sales, this fee covers the setup, management, reporting, listing on our website and the option for audiences to book online, over the phone or in person.
After your show we will deduct the 8% (+VAT) commission from all sales before returning your income to you.
Do you provide technical assistance?
Yes – as part of the theatre hire package at Jacksons Lane a technician is included for the duration of your hire.
Do we need to provide ushers?
No – We provide ushers and Duty Managers for all shows at Jacksons Lane and this cost is built into the hire package. If you wish do to multiple performances on the same day there may be an increase in the cost of staffing.
Will you put my show in the programme or on the website?
Unfortunately since we have so many programmed shows we are unable to offer advertising for Theatre Hires in our programme.
As tickets must be sold through Jacksons Lane’s box office this will include a listing on our website under the What’s On section.
Can you offer a charity rate?
As Jacksons Lane is itself a charity – we are unable to offer discounts to other charities or non-profit organisations.
