JL Circus Haringey

Come and join us for FREE drama and circus classes in Tottenham and Wood Green.

Learn to create and perform stories, hula-hoop, juggle, stilt walk and perform spectacular acrobatic tricks and human pyramids!

You will have the opportunity to work with some of the UK’s most exciting circus and drama practitioners, meet other inspiring young people and devise your own original performances.

JL Circus workshops run every week during term time in venues across the east of Haringey!

JL Circus Spring Term
14th September – 18th March 2020

Spring term workshops run between January and March. This term we will be working towards our annual Spring Showcase which is on the 14th March, put it in your diary.
Regular session times are:

Fusion Gym, Tottenham Green Leisure Centre, N15 4JA
Every Monday13th Jan – 15th March (no session on 17th February due to half term)
Juniors (8-12 yrs): 4 – 5.15pm
Seniors (13-18 yrs): 5.15 – 6.30pm

McQueens Theatre, behind Karamel Restaurant, 4 Coburg Rd, Hornsey, London N22 6UJ

Every Wednesday 15th Jan – 17th March (no session on 19th Feb due to half term)
Juniors (8-12 yrs): 4 – 5.30pm
Seniors (13-18 yrs): 5.45 – 7.15pm (Meet in Karamel Restaurant)

Explorers (5-7 yrs): 3.30 – 4.30pm
Juniors (8-12 yrs): 4.30 – 6pm


BUILD circus skills including juggling, diablo, hula hooping and acrobatics

EXPLORE physical theatre through movement and dance based exercises

DEVELOP the ability to capture ideas and stories, creating unique storytelling styles

CREATE your own distinctive theatre piece from scratch!

Facilitated by professional circus and movement artists and performers, this project will work across skill sets and art forms to create a performance that will open a show at Jacksons Lane, and be in our annual showcase!

Any young person aged 8 – 18
