“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

Walls of Boxes, directed by Nelly Chernetskaya, is inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s “The Little Prince”. Original songs (in both English & Russian) and instrumental music are composed and performed by Luba Hilman.

This thought-provoking production invites audiences on a journey of introspection and self-discovery. The artists use visuals, sound, movement, and spoken word to reveal the intricate layers of truth and emotion that are often neglected in our everyday lives.

Nelly Chernetskaya is a theatre director and artist who has studied, directed, and performed in Russia, Germany, and England. Nelly’s primary aim is to find a unity that speaks to every living being, despite our differences.

Luba Hilman is an award-winning composer, musician, and performer. Her portfolio includes collaborations with Netflix and Universal Music. Luba, a graduate of Guildhall School of Music and Drama, combines acoustic instruments with field recordings and electronic sounds, including analog and semi-modular synthesisers. Luba’s independent music has aired on radio stations and music channels worldwide. Luba has contributed to numerous theatre, performance and media projects, including a recent appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which won an award at the London New Wave Film Festival and was officially selected by the Berlin Shorts Awards.
