This is a work in progress performance

When Ava is sent away by her foster mum to the Penrose’s on Jersey, she is removed from everything she thinks she knows. Setting out to discover what ‘home’ really feels like, Ava discovers secrets, new connections, and the enigmatic Marsh House…

In a world marked by widespread cruelty and isolation, Memories of the Marshland seeks to illuminate the transformative power of human connection in unexpected and enchanting ways.

You are invited to this sharing of work, which comes at the end of a six-day R&D exploring a movement practice with a mixed ensemble of blind, visually impaired and sighted artists. Led by Jack Norris, a disabled movement director, Flo O’Mahony, Artistic Director of Zoo Co, and Sam Brewer, Artistic Director of Flawbored, the process has explored the interface between creative audio description, physical theatre, storytelling and creative access.

The sharing is followed by a panel discussion on some of the issues raised by the R&D, with special guest Quiplash.
