We use it every day without a second thought, the most common form of plastic – polystyrene. In this remarkable piece of visual theatre, Andrea Salustri explores its possibilities to the point it becomes alive and protagonist of the events on stage. As an almost unseen animator he shows how we engage with objects, allowing them their own performing artistry, creating magic in front of our eyes.

The Brides
Seven women in bridal gowns awaken in cocoons in the Palace of Survival. Watched over by the Death Bride they wait for a groom who never comes as we witness the four seasons of a woman’s life. The Brides is a riotous celebration of misbehaviour, tenderness and power, of love, greed, death and rebirth. The international cast of performers is directed by David Glass.
