Marketing Manager

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000
Place of Work: Jacksons Lane, Highgate, London, N6
Application Deadline: 10am Monday 12 February 2024
Interviews: Week commencing Monday 19 February 2024
Preferred start date: 1 April 2024

Jacksons Lane are seeking a highly efficient and organised individual to join our team as Marketing Manager. As the flagship arts and cultural venue in Haringey, Jacksons Lane hosts a year-round programme encompassing the best in contemporary circus and theatre performance, arts participation activities, cultural education and outreach work for both its community and the sector as a whole.

This opportunity comes at an exciting time in Jacksons Lane’s history as we gear up towards celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2025. The Marketing Manager will be a key role in the marketing and PR of both our theatre programme and creative engagement work.

We are looking for someone with a passion for contemporary performance and effective arts marketing, who understands how to collect and analyse data to develop audiences, raise the profile of the organisation and to increase ticket sale revenue. Jacksons Lane is a vibrant and proactive organisation and so a passion for all our work and continued development is essential.

An experience of contemporary circus as an art form is an advantage, but not essential, however an enthusiasm and dedication for marketing all our artistic output is crucial. An interest in our work as a charitable arts centre is also important and you will be keen to learn about the contribution your role can make to the company.

Jacksons Lane has a strong commitment to increasing the diversity of our staff. All candidates who indicate that they are from an ethnically or culturally diverse background or are disabled, and who meet the Essential Criteria of the Person Specification will be guaranteed an interview.

We are a PiPA (Parents and Carers in Performing Arts) partner. PiPA enables and empowers parents, carers and employers to achieve sustainable change in attitudes and practices in order to attract, support and retain a more diverse and flexible workforce. We are always happy to  discuss solutions that allow people to balance their caring responsibilities with their working lives, for example through job shares or flexible working arrangements.
