What are your hire rates for a children's party?
Children’s parties are booked in 3 hour blocks. This is to allow for 30 minutes to set-up, a 2 hour party and 30 minutes to clear up.
Rates for a three hour block are:
Studio 2: £150
Space 3: £120
Space 4: £100
3 & 4 Hired Together: £170
What availability do you have for my child's party?
Due to our busy classes & courses programme, Jacksons Lane is only able to hold parties on the weekends. The building opens daily at 10am and birthday bookings can go up to 6pm on Saturdays and 5pm on Sundays.
Does Jacksons Lane provide catering?
All food and beverage must be provided by our onsite café, Cafe Theadro. For details about catering options, please speak directly to Koula in the café or call her on 0208 347 2410 or 07956 863 773.
You may bring your own birthday cake. Please note it will also be your responsibility to provide paper plates, cups, cutlery and decorations.
Are tables and chairs provided?
Jacksons Lane has both standard and child-size tables and chairs available for parties. Furniture is available on request, subject to availability.
Please note you will be required to set this up and pack all furniture down yourselves within the allocated booking time.
Do I have to clean the space after my party?
Yes, Jacksons Lane asks all hirers to return the spaces to how they found them. This will include packing down and returning all furniture, sweeping/mopping any spillages and throwing
away left over food. Please ask for equipment at Reception.
The Duty Officer will check the space before you leave to ensure that it has been satisfactorily cleared.
I don’t want to set up/tidy up by myself.
That’s no problem! Our staff can assist with the set-up and clean-up within your allocated booking time for an additional fee of £40 + VAT for both or £20 + VAT for one. Please contact the hires team to discuss further and check availability.
Are there any rules in hiring the spaces?
We do not allow stilettos, scooters/ roller boots, or helium balloons. There will be a fine, as laid out in the hire agreement you will sign, if any of these items are brought into the spaces.
Can I buy any alcohol for the adults from the bar?
No, alcohol is strictly prohibited at any children's party at Jacksons Lane.
Do you hold parties for teenagers?
Unfortunately not, we only provide parties for children up to 10 years old.
Can I book to see a Jacksons Lane show as part of my child's birthday party?
Of course. Please communicate your interest to the hires team and we will be able to arrange this with your room booking, subject to ticket availability.
Can we have birthday cake and food after the show?
Yes, but you will need to book a private room for at least 1 hour, subject to availability.
Please note that you cannot hold this portion of the party in the cafe as we cannot guarantee space and non-Hoop Cafe food cannot be eaten in the cafe.
Spaces for children’s parties
A large hall with a professional dance floor and a PA system for kids to run and dance around to music. Studio 2 is our most popular choice for parties!

Max capacity: 80 people

A bright, airy space great for any activities or games you have planned. It is ideal for younger children and boasts lots of natural light.
Dimensions: 6m x 9m
Max capacity: 35 people
For more space, we suggest hiring Space 3 and 4 together as they are interconnecting. The cost to hire both spaces is £170.
£120 for a 3 hour block
A perfect space for a birthday lunch or soft toy party. This space may not be suitable for all parties due to a large central pillar so please arrange a visit before confirming.
Dimensions: 6m x 10m
Max capacity: 40
