Writer, director and performer Kaveh Rahnama shares growing up with a supportive Welsh mother, his Iranian father, frequent childhood moves due to financial struggles shaped him and how his early juggling interest evolved into a circus career. Kaveh values his unique access to performers at Jacksons Lane and reflects on a film capturing the building’s transformation with diverse artists. He also discusses post-pandemic productions, community engagement through JL Circus, cultural sensitivity, and supporting young creatives; all influenced by his mum who he dedicated a seat to at Jacksons Lane after her passing in 2021.
