Coffee and Computers
Due to the current situation regarding COVID-19 in the UK and in order to safeguard our participants we have decided to suspend Women Rise sessions until further notice.
A volunteer-led IT programme for people who want to improve their confidence in computers, laptops or tablets.
Sessions start with a group chat about what issues participants are facing with IT. This could include wanting to gain confidence with Facebook or finding out how to surf the web or discovering how to use internet banking. Participants are then matched with a volunteer who will work with them in the session for an hour or so working them to improve their skills in a relaxed setting.
This is all done over a cup of coffee!
Sessions happen at Jacksons Lane on the last Friday of the month (excluding August and December) starting at 10:30am and finishing at 12:30pm
Coffee and Computers is growing and there are also regular sessions at Highgate School, Shine Centre Turnpike Lane, Crouch End Library and Highgate Society. To find out about the sessions happening at these venues contact Eric on 07842 082 034
