Jeremy Corbyn

Oral Histories

Jeremy Corbyn, the MP for Islington North, shares his personal story, from his roots in Wiltshire to his experiences in Jamaica and London. He is really passionate about education, building strong communities, and politics. He is especially keen on making sure places like Jacksons Lane, which are so important for the community, are protected. Corbyn also touches on local political work when he was involved in the protests against widening Archway road, fixing up homes in Haringey and pushing for more arts education. He stresses just how much Jacksons Lane has done for social justice and culture.
