Curated by pole artist Madeleine Margot, Transient and Trifling brings the kink scene to the Jacksons Lane stage for the first time. This show explores the consensually beautiful and brutal aspects of BDSM through a feast of circus, pole, and performance. Breaking away from the typical notion that kink performance must rely on fetish fashion and shock value, it invites you to immerse yourself in a unique and radical night.

Introducing the line-up…

Madeleine Margot: An award-winning artist, specialising in Chinese Pole, Pole Dance and Aerial Pole. She creates performances with a focus on activism: recent themes include the appropriation of provocative dance in the pole and circus industries and the misrepresentation of BDSM in pop culture. Madeleine has also been featured in The Times and Brass Monkey Magazine. She has been part of the BDSM community since 2019, often seen in bunny ears eating carrots in cages.

Powdered Sugar: As London’s favourite gender-fluid dumpster fire, award-winning international menace, and the UK’s second favourite gender-neutral toilet, Powdered Sugar is here to bring absolute Queer chaos. Expect to leave with something to think about, something to repress, and if you’re lucky, your newest kink!

Bella Dubois: Born into theatre arts training as a dancer from the young age of 5, Bella has always had a passion for the performing arts. In recent years, she has also delved into the world of DJing, particularly in the kink club scene. Bella enjoys creating unique and unconventional music and performances, often incorporating elements of fetish and theatre into her sets. Some of her notable appearances include the UK Fetish Awards, London Fashion Week, Torture Garden, and House of Manchester. She’s always looking for new ways to push boundaries and express creativity through her art.

Rawdon Cooper: A multidisciplinary artist and instructor known for his blending of contemporary movement with pole tricks. Since starting pole, he has performed for shows like Broken Doll and Molten Muse, and teaches across London. In the 5 years since he started pole, his approach to movement has evolved, as has his relationship with sexuality. Though normally not a sensual pole dancer, he’s very excited to use this opportunity to be blend past experiences with the art form in order to tell his story, and show how even in darkness there can be light.

Emily Winters: An international cabaret and shibari artist, previously working for clients such as Balenciaga and the BBC, and infamous cabarets such as the Box and Pulverfass. She has been performing on the fetish scene since 2021 for parties such as Killing Kittens and Heaven’s Circle, and will be performing at Edinburgh Fringe this year with erotic Ballet company Bella’s Ballerinas.

Amelia Laughlin: From the ballet barre to the aerial hoop, Amelia Laughlin bends between elegance and enigma. Her work draws from the darker edges of feminine desire, exploring the seductive, the unknowable, and the alluringly dangerous. Each act becomes a slow unravelling—of story, of self, of expectation—inviting the audience to look closer and question what they’ve witnessed. A California-born spectre of silk and steel, her performances have graced stages from Las Vegas to London, she’ll lure you into a world where danger dances with desire.

Sadiq Ali: A mixed-heritage, queer circus artist and performance maker trained at London’s National Centre for Circus Arts. With extensive experience in kink and fetish performance and life, both professionally and personally, he blends comedy, movement, and striking visuals to bring sensuality and subversion to each performance. His full length works have earned 4 and 5 star reviews from sources such as the Guardian, The Stage, and The Scotsman.

Merlin the Grey: A proud Bisexual Trans man. He is an international, award winning Boylesque performer who wears his surgery scars with pride, celebrating the beauty of trans bodies and proving that curvy boys are just as sexy! Putting the ASS in Blasphemy, Merlin explores his relationship with faith and organised religion as a queer, trans man. Prepare to get on your knees, as Merlin will make sure you…come.. every Sunday.
