For half a century, Jacksons Lane has been a home for creativity, community, and bold artistic expression. From opening in 1975 as a community centre to becoming a leading venue for contemporary circus and performance, we’ve championed innovative work and nurtured generations of artists.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re reflecting on our rich history while looking ahead to an exciting future. Throughout the year, we’ll be marking the occasion with special events and heritage projects, honouring our past and ensuring Jacksons Lane continues to inspire for the next 50 years.

Over the past 50 years, Jacksons Lane has been home to bold ideas and unforgettable moments. Our Oral Histories project brings together voices from across the decades – from founders and performers to staff, volunteers and community members – sharing the memories that shaped who we are today.

Heritage Restoration Work
With thanks to National Lottery Heritage Fund we are able to complete some key building restoration work including replacing the stone cross above the main entrance.
We are incredibly grateful to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for this investment, which will allow us to deliver an ambitious and inspiring year of engagement, heritage, and celebration. With our communities at the heart, this funding will help us share our unique history with thousands of people across Haringey and beyond. It will also support training and volunteering opportunities, enhance our environmental sustainability, and enable vital roof and restoration work on our Grade II listed building.
As we celebrate 50 years of bold creativity at Jacksons Lane, our anniversary season brings together a selection of shows spanning comedy, theatre and contemporary circus.

Over half of our income relies on charitable giving and the generosity of people like you. As a registered charity (1119318), this support is essential to keeping our doors open and providing a space where people can come together.
We also take our work beyond our walls, reaching those who need it most. From young people and older adults to artists and our local community, your support helps us continue to make a lasting impact.

Your message (up to 25 characters) will remain for 15 years, with an option to renew. By naming a seat, you’ll create a special memory and help secure Jacksons Lane’s future.

£400 per seat includes a £50 fixed cost, with a voluntary £350 donation to support Jacksons Lane. The donation element is eligible for Gift Aid.
