It feels only right that this year’s tour of Looking For Me Friend begins at Jacksons Lane, as Victoria Wood lived locally in Highgate and had a personal connection to the venue.

This year marks 10 years since the death of the late, great Victoria Wood. So be amongst friends at “The most feel-good show in town” (Daily Mail) and join Paulus The Cabaret Geek (BBC1’s All Together Now) with Michael Roulston (Fascinating Aïda) on piano to celebrate her life.

Directed by the multi-award-winning Sarah-Louise Young (An Evening Without Kate Bush), Looking For Me Friend is filled with Victoria’s best-loved songs, including the iconic Ballad of Barry & Freda (Let’s Do It) and the classic It Would Never Have Worked. The show has been warmly welcomed by many of Victoria’s school friends, family and colleagues.

This show is for devoted fans and for those yet to discover her, inviting everyone to come together and relish Victoria’s breathtaking wizardry with words. In telling Victoria’s story, Paulus also unfolds his own, sharing a relatable 1970s childhood and what it really means to find your tribe.

Pair your stilettos with an oven glove, zip up your cocktail slacks and get booking!
