Born Again Virgin

Born Again Virgin is an act from Austin, Texas now based in London, England consisting of solo artist Anna Roenigk. Her first self-titled EP, produced by Brian Beattie (Daniel Johnston, Bill Callahan, Okkervil River), was released independently in 2017. Inspired by 90’s rock and songwriters like Rufus Wainwright, the EP explores both dissonant and melodic sensibilities—some tracks echoing 90’s lo-fi grunge and others exploring chamber pop theatrics. Roenigk made a move to London, UK in 2019 and the singles “Nothing in Your Eyes” and “Spider in the Snow” followed. Since 2020, Roenigk has teamed up with French producer Emmanuelle LeCann and co-produced genre-explorative singles “King of the World,” “This Town Isn’t Shit Without You,” Sparklehorse cover “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Bird of Prey,” and their newest single “Golden Earth.”

“Like The Beach Boys meets The Shangri-Las with lovely Liverpool jangle”

Chris Hawkins (BBC 6music)

Known for their distinctive blend of male-female dual vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and infectious guitar-driven soundscapes, Hushtones have been steadily carving out their place in the UK music scene. With multiple spins on BBC 6music from Craig Charles and Chris Hawkins, support from BBC Radio 1, and glowing praise from Clash Magazine, the band’s momentum shows no sign of slowing.

The Redwood Bandits

The Redwood Bandits are a bluegrass-folk group whose lyrics weave tales from the Appalachian mountains with old time banjo, rich vocals and foot tapping tunes!

Jamie G Maier

In his brand new solo project Tungz singer and guitarist Jamie G Maier presents a terrifying balancing act between irony and earnestness, simple songs and elaborate arrangements, softboy singer-songwriter and electronic something-or-other. Witness an outpouring of songs previously deemed a bit too odd to see the light of day: expect car crashes, confessions and Canadian yearnings set to lo-fi beats and as many instruments as Jamie can play at once.
