Jacksons Lane are looking for a dynamic, fun and organised Youth Project Manager  to manage, coordinate and deliver our youth projects in Tottenham, Seven Sisters and Wood Green. As the flagship arts and cultural venue in Haringey, Jacksons Lane hosts a year-round programme encompassing the best in contemporary circus performance, arts participation activities, cultural education and outreach work for both its community and the sector as a whole. The Youth Project Manager will be responsible for liaising with Haringey’s diverse communities and our project partners, making sure all projects, workshops and events are delivered to a high standard, in a safe and positive environment, and ensuring our youth programme becomes a positive influence on the communities and the young participants.

This opportunity comes at an exciting time in Jacksons Lane’s history as we fully reopen our arts centre following a long anticipated, capital refurbishment project.

This position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and opportunities for young people. The ideal person will have experience of leading drama workshops with young people and creating devised performances from young people’s ideas. Good organisational and administration skills are required for this position including report writing, monitoring and evaluation and keeping up to date databases. Please note experience of circus is not required for this position, but you must be willing to learn and participate in circus workshops. Jacksons Lane is a vibrant and proactive organisation and so a passion for our work and continued development of all aspects of the company’s work is essential.

Jacksons Lane is an equal opportunities employer, and we are committed to building a diverse workforce that reflects the dynamism and broad range of work we do as an organisation.
