Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: up to £40,000 p/a

Place of Work: Jacksons Lane, Highgate, London, N6 with occasional home working

Preferred Start date: As soon as possible

Jacksons Lane are seeking a highly efficient and organised individual to join our team as our new General Manager (Operations). As the flagship arts and cultural venue in Haringey, Jacksons Lane hosts a year round programme encompassing the best in contemporary circus performance, arts participation activities, cultural education and outreach work for both its community and the sector as a whole.

This opportunity comes at an exciting time in Jacksons Lane’s history as we fully reopen our arts centre following a long anticipated, capital refurbishment project. The General Manager (Operations) will be a key role in the development of operations and processes in the new space.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, who has a pragmatic and methodical approach to health and safety, HR, licensing and who is calm under pressure. Jacksons Lane is a vibrant and proactive organisation and so a passion for our work and continued development all aspects of the company’s work is essential.

You may not have worked in the arts sector before, but may have worked in a similar role in the hospitality or events industries and will have a solution based approach and ability to deal with a range of issues confidently and tactfully. An interest in our work as a charitable arts centre is important and you will be keen to learn about the contribution your role can make to the company.
