Community and Volunteers Project Manager (Creative Learning)

Contract: Full-time, one-year fixed term

Salary: up to £28,000 p/a depending on experience

Place of Work: Highgate, London, N6 5AA plus venues across Haringey, with occasional home working

Preferred Start date: as soon as possible

Jacksons Lane are seeking a highly efficient, dynamic and people-centred individual to join our creative learning team as our new community and volunteers project manager.  As the flagship arts and cultural venue in Haringey, Jacksons Lane hosts a year-round programme encompassing the best in contemporary circus performance, arts participation activities, cultural education and outreach work for both its community and the sector as a whole. This position would suit someone with significant levels of experience of managing creative learning projects with older adults in community settings.

This opportunity comes at an exciting time in Jacksons Lane’s history as we fully reopen our arts centre following a long anticipated, capital refurbishment project.

This position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects with older adults as well as a pool of over 100 volunteers. We are looking for someone with extensive project management experience, and with outstanding organisational, negotiation interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate a passion for arts and community work.
