Contemporary dance for Over 50s (THU)

Soom Company is a physical theatre dance group formed by Yunkyung Song, which explores aspects of therapeutic and creative work. The aim of the class is to provide high quality dance training and creative experiences for older people, through improvisation and to improve mental and emotional well being through enjoyment, challenge, freedom, creativity and building self esteem as a result of feeling valued and recognised. No previous experience necessary.
No classes on the 5th, 12th, 19th April and 10th May

Each term you will learn a new piece of choreography involving: props, facial expressions, the art of striptease, different varieties of music and the various genre's of Burlesque dancing- from Cabaret to Comical, from Sexy to Seductive.... in this lesson your bound to become the ultimate Femme Fatale!* This class involves no nudity.
