Bette & Joan receives rave reviews from the Edinburgh Fringe
Wed 7 Sep 4PM
Foursight Theatre’s production of Bette & Joan: The Final Curtain went down a storm at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August, receiving seven ★★★★ reviews.
Foursight Theatre’s production transfers to Jacksons Lane from Tue 6 – Sat 24 Sept for the London premiere of this brand new comic drama about Hollywood’s rival queen bees.
“You should only say good of the dead. Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” Bette Davis.
Now on her own deathbed, Davis is forced by Hollywood hacks Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons to finally confront the ghost of her nemesis, Crawford herself. And of course, just because someone’s dead doesn’t mean they’ve changed.
“Foursight’s clever two-hander allows its lead actors to display a non-stop, scenery-chewing wit.” The Times
"Glorious comedy" The Stage

A brilliant production" Hairline ★★★★
